345 12:00 2008 This sound piece is the result of an experiment with duration and focus. I added up how long it took me to complete a painting I was working on: 3 days and 45 minutes. I allowed myself this exact amount of time to create a new sound piece. I recorded sounds and also used pre-existing material. I spent half the allotted time collecting and sequencing, while the second half was devoted to balancing levels and overall effect.
